Strictness On Khasmahal Land, Government Will Cancel Settlement If Lease Conditions Are Violated

The government has become strict on violation of lease conditions of Khasmahal land. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has sent a letter to the Collector of 12 districts seeking a proposal to cancel all such settlements where the land is being used commercially or otherwise unapproved. This action is being taken on the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, the report of which has been sought by February 15. Investigation has also started in Muzaffarpur.

BRA Bihar University has made important changes in the graduation mark sheets. Now the marksheet will have detailed information including parents' name, course title, credits and grades. This new format has come into effect from the results of the second semester of session 2024-28. Similar changes will be made in PG mark sheets, which will enable students to get more academic information and it will be easier to upload data on NAD.

A 56-year-old man, Arjun Manjhi, was beaten to death after he was stopped from playing a mobile game in Gayaji. NCERT will release new curriculum-based books for class IX and XI students from the new session 2026-27, which will be available by the end of March. These books prepared under the new education policy focus on skill-based learning, Indian knowledge tradition and inter-disciplinary approach. Bridge courses will also be conducted to help students understand the new curriculum. The evaluation system will also be two-tier, with emphasis on understanding and application.
