More than 450 hospitals in Patna are not disposing of medical waste scientifically, due to which the risk of anti-microbial resistance AMR is increasing. According to the Pollution Control Board, two and a half tonnes of garbage is generated every day, but many institutions are not following the rules. The councilor has written a letter to the district administration for strict action, because there is a risk of spreading the infection due to wrong disposal.

NCERT will release new curriculum-based books for class IX and XI students from the new session 2026-27, which will be available by the end of March.
