On returning from class, the room was found locked from inside, which the warden got opened. Khushboo was found hanging from the noose. According to Sandhya, Khushboo never shared any tension, which left everyone shocked. This incident has become a cause of mourning in the hostel premises.

A goods train laden with onions split into two parts near Digghi on Hajipur-Bachhwara railway section on Tuesday. Due to the wisdom of the driver, a major accident was averted and there were no casualties. The incident occurred due to a technical fault in the coupling, due to which train operations were affected for about 10-15 minutes. The technical staff immediately repaired the coupling and sent the train forward.

Bihar Census 2027: Village-city Boundaries Remain Unchanged, Focus Will Be On 33 Questions

There will be no change in rural and urban administrative boundaries in Bihar till March 31 next year. This decision was taken in the meeting of the State Level Coordination Committee as part of the preparations for Census 2027. In the meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, it was told that the census will be held in two phases, in which in the first phase the listing and counting of houses will be done in 30 days between April to September 2026. 33 questions will be asked in this.

Bihar Home Department has announced the reinstatement of more than 51 thousand policemen in the upcoming financial year, in which the process is going on for more than 26 thousand posts. SISF battalion will also be established for Patna Metro and industrial areas. The budget of the department has increased by Rs 2300 crore to Rs 20,132.53 crore. Emphasis will be laid on new buildings and modernization.

The hopes of the farmers have been dashed with the commencement of the auction process of the land of Sasamusa Sugar Mill which was closed for eight years. On the instructions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, e-auction of more than 44 bighas of land will be held on 17 February 2026, the reserve price of which is Rs 66.40 crore. Farmers owe Rs 46 crore to the mill, due to which they are disappointed.
