DM's Review Meeting On Bio-medical Waste In Muzaffarpur, Instructions To Civil Surgeon To Submit Inspection Report Within 48 Hours

A review meeting on scientific management of bio-medical waste was held in Muzaffarpur under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Subrata Kumar Sen. He directed the Civil Surgeon to inspect all government and private health institutions and submit a report within 48 hours. Warning of strict action was given for non-compliance. The infection, pollution and health hazards caused by improper disposal of waste were discussed in the meeting, the need for scientific management of which was emphasised.

Minister Vijay Chaudhary Clarified The Pension Conditions Of Journalists, 20 Years Of Service Is Mandatory

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary gave clarification on the pension conditions of journalists in Bihar. He said that like other states, 20 years of service is mandatory, in which TDS and PF are proof of service. Bihar government provides better pension and family pension as compared to other states. On the question of MLA Ajay Kumar, the minister said that there is no limit on the number, but minimum service period is necessary.

New Initiative Of Patna Municipal Corporation: E-waste Will Be Bought From Door To Door From March, Brainstorming Is Going On To Decide The Price.

Patna Municipal Corporation will purchase e-waste from homes from March, for which the agency selection will be completed in February. This initiative is to address the challenge of annual 10% increase in e-waste and improper disposal. The corporation will become the first body in the state to purchase e-waste. Its objective is to ensure environmental protection, human health protection and recovery of precious metals. A campaign to make citizens aware is also going on.

There Will Be Strict Monitoring On Coaching Institutes In Patna, Violation Of Security Standards Will No Longer Be Tolerated.

All coaching institutes in Patna will now be under strict surveillance. DM and SSP have given instructions for effective implementation of Bihar Coaching Institute Act. A district level monitoring committee has been constituted, which will check the safety standards. Institutions must apply for registration or renewal within 10 days. Standards like CCTV monitoring, complaint box, fire safety and emergency exits have been made mandatory. Strict action will be taken against violation.

Big Relief For Working Mothers In Bihar, 318 New Anganwadi Centers Will Open Under Mission Shakti Scheme.

Under Mission Shakti Yojana, 318 new Anganwadi cum crèche centers will be opened in the state, which will provide great relief to working mothers in taking care of children. Currently 186 centers are operating. The opening of the new centers will take the total number to 504. These crèches will provide a safe environment, nutritious food and education to the children, thereby ensuring their holistic care.

CBSE-ICSE Board Exam: 10th-12th Exam Starts From Today, Calculator Banned; The Gate Will Close Half An Hour Earlier

Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE and ICSE 10th-12th examinations are starting from Tuesday in Patna. It is mandatory for students to reach the examination center before the scheduled time.
