A 20-member CBI team investigated the death of the NEET student in Ratni Faridpur village of Jehanabad. The team interrogated the family members separately for three and a half hours, recorded their statements and seized some items like books and knives. Authorities assured a fair and speedy investigation, while family members earlier expressed concern over the inaction of the local police. There was a lot of discussion in the village regarding the investigation.

In Bahuara village of Shivhar, 65-year-old farmer Bachchu Singh was beaten to death with a brick over a dispute over the outstanding amount of one liter milk. Shyampur Bhatahan police sent the body for post-mortem. The son of the deceased has accused Akash Kumar and others. The accused are absconding and the police are investigating the matter.

Patna Municipal Corporation has implemented 'Property Tax Incentive Scheme-2025', which will run from 28 November to 31 March 2026. Under this, 100% interest and penalty on pending property tax will be waived, only the principal amount will have to be paid. So far 5,511 taxpayers have done self-assessment. The scheme is applicable to all types of properties including residential, commercial and industrial, which will provide great relief to taxpayers.
