Shailesh alias Baura, who committed gang rape on the pretext of marriage in Dhaata town of Fatehpur, has been arrested by the police and sent to jail. The victim told that she was a minor at the time of the incident and Shailesh's brother had also raped her. Police have registered a case of gang rape and under POCSO Act and arrested Shailesh, while the search for his absconding brother is going on.

Wildlife Crime Control Bureau and Forest Department have busted two poaching gangs from Haryana in Baghpat. Seven accused were arrested from Yamuna Khadar, while two escaped.
