Train Will Gain Speed On Shimla-Kalka Track, Special Trial Of Power Car; There Will Be Large Scale Technical Improvement In Train Operations

Detailed oscillation trial of NG power car will be conducted on Kalka-Shimla narrow gauge section. This trial will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. According to railway officials, the testing is being done after modifications have been made to the luggage and guard compartments of the power car. During the trial the train will run at a speed of 28 km per hour. After the success of this test, there will be technical improvement in the operation of narrow gauge trains.
